Reflecting Transparent Faces

1.
Abandoned by the pine trees Left only with the seasons breeze Branches devour our burning sunlight A grieving fire that will never ignite (For eternity the storm awaited Grasping anyone by their throats Slowly the waves came to approach) Submerging the town in streams of misery Erasing the rest of their history Rumbles awaken the next hateful storm The blood of their hearts spread across the land As the poison spreads across the sand Graveyards have risen under the clouds At last the spirits will no longer be tortured Descending in tombs of salt and bones
2.
Eerie hymns chanting up the hill Ghostly figures stalk the horizon Voices of the deceased repeat Forests laugh near the blackened sea (The scent of the rotting still lurks As the flesh sinks into the waters dirt Even though everything has died The feeling of the living fills the air) Thunderous clouds emerge from the tree's Shattering the sky above the cursed sea Shadowing over the dying sun Not man can see when the wraith is done (Confused by the decaying stars For centuries travelers didn't go far Yet they worshiped the tide But soon they're left to die)
3.
Along black clouds in the east Witnessing the last thing they've seen An explosion of dismantled vessels Everyone and everything drowned and settled Creatures below stunned and tortured More tragedy soon came forward Forest trees collapsed The sky opened up as it passed Humanity along the coast demolished
4.
5.
Scavenging below to see the wreckage Peering under to see mass destruction Failure as they fall lower and lower Only to be drowning in the abyss' waves Unknown creatures awaken in rage Soon grabbing the enslaved Attempting to rise above with no face Leaving the tides without a single trace Tentacles summoning a new moon Shifting the gravity to create new tides A reflection of the cursed above the water Soon disappearing with the falling sun Lying underneath is fear to the unknown With salt fueled veins they stalk alone Only to rise with the burning crescent
6.
The Atlantic sea A vast place in ruins from ash and dust Now lies centuries of vessels laying in rust Those who have traveled never returned Seeking for hope, only to find new battles Encased in coastal rocks Never returning to their docks Searching the sea for a better life But awakened by a strike (In a state of constant danger Lurking near is unfortunate death Fear of what dwells below Only the fallen know) Those who have traveled never returned Seeking for hope only finding new battles The Atlantic sea A place in ruins from ash and dust Now lies centuries of vessels laying in rust Forever resting in the Atlantic graveyard
7.
Emerging out from the sea Above us is a world of terror Drastic centuries of human error An empty world A false dream Blackened waves reflecting lost light Shadows cast over the forest in spite The sky is ripped apart by burning stars Reminding humanity of it's lost scars (Carried farther amongst the tide Left drifting alone with no pride Lightning conjures ocean spirits So close yet no one can hear it) Crumbled with dismantled rocks A sign of vultures begin to flock Submerging in endless waves Humanity could never be saved *(In a world that's forever dead Destruction is where they've been lead Over their watery graves the sun never rises)
8.
Our moon and sun sculpting a collision Other planets and stars crafting our vision Blood from our veins evaporates And the Flames inside us escapes Our sun has been consumed by depths Sinking deeper with it's final breath Ascending overhead bears the moons reign Obtaining the light and stars to retain Thunder and lightning provoked once more Piercing rain cleansing while lungs are torn Eyes of the moon peer as the world divides Pulling the sea and land together to collide Visualizing a world left dead and grey From the oceans and land we left betrayed Other planets laugh as life rotted away
