Roaring rivers flow after winters blizzard Tumbling rocks came near to whisper There is failure all across the dirt I am laughed at by deaths curse (After all the despair I am sinking farther below Winter is gone forever So is my reflection in the melting snow) Darkness covers the broken sky Where the sun finally dies No longer hiding in shadows Every word explained becomes shallow (The river and stars lead the path Countless hours feeling life's grasp This water feels too thin Drowning with the thoughts within) Time passes and the sun never rises Fires engulfed in the silence Within the woods the trees ignited The light will always be unknown
2.
Valleys washed away in salvation Drowning in everlasting thought They left no explanation Submerging underneath Then emerging to rot Forever lying Waiting for the reapers hand These situations We could never understand These separate lives we live From worlds we will never meet All these answers we could never seek Nothing but echoing voices in hurling winds Fading away as the clock sits Withering away at the final ticks Keys left at the final tomb
3.
Atop this hill across the street you watched me grow and guided me as years go by and you grow old to hell your mind, it has been sold Memory of your travels far Gone from you like flash of star A mind reduced to this frail state Allowed by god who cannot hate This bed here is your resting place At rest as you succumb to fate Surrounded by all those you loved Flow to the unknown like a wayward dove Now I walk your vacant house, abiding here I feel you now your soul I know will watch me here as I live here all these years I’m saying goodbye for now I know we’ll meet again somehow Now I see this is the end but did you even know me in the end
4.
The nomadic ghost rises in the quiet My inner self died in silence I wondered off into the distance Watch the ghost leave existence Memories faded as the sky turned black I had to turn away I didn't look back But these memories returned Wishing this world will burn... Dirt filled the shovels blade Here comes June's rain Everything flooded my mind All hope became blind Travel back through the tree's Wishing the tomb was written for me But the more I thought The more I'd regret The ghost is done roaming I guess it's time for me to go...
